چکیده

This paper presents a tri-level stochastic coordinated transmission and distribution system expansion (CTDS) planning considering the deployment of energy hubs (EHs) across systems (DSs). The first level proposed optimization approach deals with (TEP), while second develops (DEP). Market clearing is done in third to update locational marginal prices (LMPs) for different operators (DSOs). EHs include photovoltaic cells (PVs), wind turbines (WTs), combined heating power units (CHPs), boilers, electrical absorption chillers. solved an iterative algorithm based on diagonalization tested modified IEEE 30-bus (TS) several DSOs. Each DSO includes 18-bus electrical, heating, cooling systems. numerical analysis shows that total cost operator (TSO) not changed implementing uncoordinated approach. However, whole reduced by 6.54% accommodation Moreover, TSO as well are 41.11% 16.96%, respectively, planning.

Toward a Smart Distribution System Expansion Planning by Considering Demand Response Resources

This paper presents a novel concept of "smart distribution system expansion planning (SDEP)" which expands the concept of demand response programs to be dealt with the long term horizon time. The proposed framework, integrates demand response resources (DRRs) as virtual distributed generation (VDG) resources into the distribution expansion planning. The main aim of this paper is to develop and ...

Coordinated Expansion Planning of Generation and Transmission Systems considering Outage Cost

This paper proposes a method for choosing the best coordinated expansion planning of generation and transmission systems considering an annual outage cost and a probabilistic power system reliability criterion (RLOLEGTS). The objective method minimizes a total cost which are not only an investment budget for constructing new generators and transmission lines but also an annual outage cost. Main...

A New Generation Allocation and Expansion Planning Algorithm Including Transmission System Effects

Generation Expansion Planning (GEP) is one of major modules of power system planning studies, normally performed for the nex 10-30 years horizon. The current industrial practices are to find the generation requirements based on a nodal analysis. In this way, the allocations are not determined and subequent studies are required to find the exact locations which as decomposed from the earli...
